Clara A. Frey, age 95, died on Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010 at the Columbus Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Columbus. She was born Sept. 14, 1915 in East Bristol, to Frank and Walberga (Hallmeyer) Weber. She was married to Leo C. Frey on June 4, 1935 in Sun Prairie. Clara was an active Columbus hospital auxiliary volunteer and St. Jerome Church and Altar Society member. Survivors include three sons, Donald (June) of Cornucopia, Jerin (Patricia) of Fond du Lac and Duane (MaryAnn) of Rhinelander; nine grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo in 2004; a daughter, Arlene Rahn in 1995; and three sisters, Rose Weber, Teckla Wagner and Clotilda Broome. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Columbus. The Rev. Steve Kortendick will officiate. Interment will be in Sacred Hearts Catholic Cemetery, Sun Prairie. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the church on Tuesday. Memorials may be directed to the St. Jerome Church or School. WSJ 12/23/2010
