Evelyn Mitchell Gibbs, 82, of Pulaski, died Sunday, Jan. 9 in the Highland Ridge Rehab Center in Dublin.
She was born in Pulaski on July 14, 1928 and was the daughter of the late Wilmer Mitchell and Ardith Bandy Mitchell.
Mrs. Gibbs was a retired employee of Jefferson Mills.
Surviving are her husband, Donald D. Gibbs; sons, Jeffrey F. Gibbs and Kim Allison and Don "Dinky" Gibbs; sister, Nancy Roop; brother, Russell Mitchell; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with Pastor David Dennis officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. Visiting will be Tuesday evening at Stevens Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Arrangements by Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski.
