Funeral services for William Bedford Deason, a former resident of Tuscaloosa, were held at 12 noon Monday at Birmingham where he died Saturday night. Burial was in the Clanton, Alabama Cemetery.

Mr. Deason formerly worked for the Birmingham Elecric Company for a period of some 40 years. He was a member of Post 143, American Legion, a Mason and a Shriner.

Surviving are his widow; his mother, Mrs. E. E. Deason, Tuscaloosa; five brothers, Grover Deason, Portsmouth, VA; Waldo and Arnold Deason, Tuscaloosa; and Dr. Virgil Deason, Logan, West Virginia; and Carl P. Deason, Akron, Ohio; and a sister, Mrs. Lenora Brewster, Birmingham.
