Grover Cleveland Deason, 74, of 2618 Eighth Street, died Thursday night at Druid City Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Spigener-Brown Service Chapel with the Rev. Lucius B. Marion officiating. Burial will be in the Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery.
Mr. Deason is survived by five daughters, Mrs. C. V. Hughes, Mrs. Ann Mulkey, Mrs. Lee Foster and Mrs. A. L. Garcia, all of Jacksonville, Florida, and Mrs. J. W. Reynolds of Savannah, Georgia; two sons, T. J. Deason of Jacksonville and James A. Deason; four brothers, Waldo H. Deason and Arnold O. Deason of Tuscaloosa, Dr. Virgil A. Deason of Logan, West virginia, and Carl T. Deason of Akron, Ohio.
Active pallbearers will be E. A. Snider, Pat Hassell, Joe Rose, J.D. Quarles, Gordon Darden, C. L. Lamb and F. A. Elmore.
