LAKEVIEW - Grace M. Linniman, 85, formerly of Versailles, died at 2:55 a.m., on Tuesday, Jan, 11, 2011, at Heartland of Indian Lake, in Lakeview.

She was born on Aug. 20, 1925, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Alva and Goldie Black and they are deceased.

She was married to Frank Linniman and he died in 1994.

Surviving are three sons, Frank Linniman and wife Pam, of DeGraff, Tim Linniman and wife June, of New Bremen and Randy Linniman and wife Maryann, of Jacksonville, N.C.; one daughter, Sharon Boyd, of St. Marys; one sister, Katherine Dross, of Yorkshire; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by one daugher, Cindy Lou Linniman; and two sisters, Mary Johnston and Lucille Meyers.

She was a homemaker and loved to knit, crochet and read. She attended the Port Jefferson United Church of Christ, in Port Jefferson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Craig Martin presiding. Burial will be at Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferson.

Friends may call at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home from noon until the hour of the funeral service.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Linniman family to help pay for funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
