Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lois Gay SIkes of Pembroke; four sons, Carl Sikes of Claxton and Joey, Lloyd and Jerry Sikes, all of Pembroke; four stepsons, William Gaston of Allen, Texas, Dee Williams of Zephyrhills, Fla., Richard Williams of Savannah and John Williams of Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Rosetta Martin of Charlotte, N.C.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gay Ryles of Summerville, S.C., and Mrs. Nora Fuller of Palatka, Fla.; two brothers, Harry Sikes and the Rev. Jim Sikes, both of Pembroke; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Fleming and Mrs. Ruby Hill, both of Pembroke, and Mrs. Helen Norris of Savannah; 19 grandchildren, 13 step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Morrison Funeral Home, burial in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic rites.
