Miles Osgerby, 86, of Vassar, passed away on Tuesday, February 2 [1943]. Funeral services were held Saturday at Vassar. A brother, J.K. Osgerby, former superintendent of Mayville Public Schools, preceded him in death two years ago and a twin brother Giles, eight years ago. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lee Enos of Vassar, Mrs. Hazen Dennis of Mayville, and Mrs. Robert Chadwick of Ann Arbor; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

(Mayville Monitor, Feb. 11, 1943.)

[*] Note: The spelling of Miles and Kitty's first child's name "Clearr" is probably a transcription error, but this is the way it appears on his birth record. It is likely that Clearr (Clare?) and Glen were twins.
