SALTVILLE - Mrs. Claudine Cahill Whitley, 59, died in a Marion hospital Sunday after a long illness. She was a member of the Madam Russell United Methodist Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Surviving are her husband, Robert O. Whitley; one step-daughter, Miss Nancy Whitley, Saltville; one step-son, James Whitley, Staunton; one sister, Mrs. Fred Gillespie, Saltvile; five brothers, Edward Cahill, Albert J. Cahill, Ellsworth and Guy Cahill, all of Saltville; and Robert Cahill, U.S. Army, Germany.
Services were held Tuesday in Madam Russell United Methodist Church, by the Rev. John E. Davis and the Rev. Roy Wampler. Interment followed in Elizabeth Cemetery.
