Frederick Post - July 6, 1940

Miss Mary Poole Jones died at her home at Braddock Heights, Thursday night at 7.30 o'clock after a six-month illness, aged 64 years.

She was a daughter of the late John and Mary Hayes Jones and was born in Poolesville. S

She was a devout member of All Saints Episcopal church, this city, and had resided at Braddock Heights for the last 26 years. Surviving are one brother, L. Hayes Jones, Catonsville; three sisters, Miss E. Medora Jones, Miss F. Eleanor Jones, and Mrs. William Smoot, all of Braddock Heights.

The body is at the funeral home, 106 East Church street, where it will remain until Saturday morning at 8 o'clock when it will be taken to the late home where funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
