Death certificate says Father Levy (sp., s/b Levi) Kinder and Mother Cynthia (listed elsewhere as being Eleanor or Ellenor) Powell. Census shows his mother as Sarah??
Hibbert was married to Martha Ann Pottorff on July 30, 1877 in Ringgold Co., Iowa.
Based on the recollections written by his niece, Eva, and that records show that Sarah and Levi were married in 1854, 3 years before he was born, all indications are that Sarah was his mother.
Also, even though his marker and death certificate show his birth date as being 19 Jan 1857, another source lists birth year as 1858 which seems more likely, as his sister Corintha's obituary lists her birth date as being 14 Jan 1857, only 5 days different that what is shown on Hibbert's marker and death certificate.
