MRS. JONES RITES HELD AT FERRIS.
FERRIS - Funeral services for Mrs. Berta C. Jones, 86, of West Monroe, La., were conducted here today in the Green Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Loggins officiating. Burial was in Ferris Memorial Park North.
A native of Ellis County, Mrs. Jones resided at Wilmer for many years prior to moving to West Monroe, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of the Greyhound Bus Co. of Dallas.
Mrs. Jones died Monday afternoon in a Mer Rouge, La., nursing home.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Florene Blackstock; a granddaughter and several nephews and nieces.
