So thrilled for this place where we can meet and work together honor those's been an absolute pleasure inputting and maintaining memorials.

*Please use the edit for information that can be made simply like links, dates, places, etc. It really makes it easy on us contributors to click the button and be taken to the memorial or just to go to our suggested edit to approve. Please note only children can be linked to parents, not vice versa.

*I'd appreciate if someone making changes let me know EXACTLY what is wanted on the memorial's bio information section while making changes via SUGGEST A CORRECTION. Occasionally I get emails with random webpages, scant information etc. and nothing else. So I do not know if I should copy and paste the information or if it is sent as a source. I'd like to make sure I am following the wishes of the person making the edit/suggestion.

*It is not necessary to send me sources, I trust information is correct and unless it is a drastic change to the memorial to please let me know what backs up the difference.

*On that note...I do not keep detailed notes on every memorial. I just do not have the time. Also edits disappear as soon as they are approved and I trash bin emails quarterly. Sadly, I cannot remember some details since I have over 30k memorials. I have subscriptions to Ancestry and so I can do a little research if necessary to confirm information that is available on those sites.

*I get numerous of inquiries about the cemeteries I have transcribed into memorials located in the Feliciana parishes. Please know I am not close, nor have I ever in-person visited these cemeteries. My source for them are from several old transcription books from that area. I do possess the books, I had checked them out via intra-library loan years ago. I have not been successful in re-checking those out in the recent past. I do know most of the smaller cemeteries are on private land. While I wish I could be of further help on locations, burials, etc. I have no way to assist in this area. I recommend contacting the library in the parish you are interested in to see if someone there can direct you to a book, periodical or genealogical group. If I do come across any information I will do my best to get that info on the cemetery page or memorial affected.

I wish all ancestor seekers good luck in pulling those threads that lead to our families!
