Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Galyn L. (Eleanor) Peterson, Mason City; two sons, Robert and Max Major, both of Phoenix, Ariz., eight grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. William (Ada) Rice of Nebraska. Memorial services were scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the First Methodist church. Dr. George Truman Carl, pastor, and the Rev. Leroy Bauman, associate pastor, of the First Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The Major-Erickson Funeral Home is in charge. -The Globe Gazette, September 21, 1961
