Clayton Bryant, 77, 337 Ward Ave.,died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Feb 19, 2001 at St. Joseph Health Center.

He was born Dec. 1, 1923 in Grahn Ky., a son of Ayers and Martha Lee Mosier Bryant, and formerly resided in Alliance, Ohio.

Mr Bryant retired in 1985 as a welder at ITT Grinnell after working 27 years.

He was a member of Shiloh Ministries in Girard, where he taught Sunday school and was song leader for 40 years. He pastored at Peoples Full Gospel Mission in Niles for five years and was an ordained minister at Shiloh Ministries.

In addition to his wife Susan Knipp Bryant, whom he married May 29, 1947, he leaves two sons, Randy of Nashville, Tenn., and Dale of Niles; three daughters, Shirley McGee of Garrettsville and Barbara Morgan and Brenda Culver, both of Niles; seven brothers, Arnold, Ayers, Chester, Richard and Sterril, all of Alliance, and Harold of Olive Hill Ky., and Jess of Lady Lake, Fla.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A sister, Margarett Jewell Bungard, and two brothers Ray and Eugene are deceased.

The funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Friday at McFarland & Sons Funeral Home, where friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Niles City Cemetery.
