Ayers K. "Junior" Bryant, 70, of Alliance died at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, at home.
He was born Feb. 13, 1931 to William Ayers and Martha (Mosher) Bryant in Olive Hill, Ky., but had lived in Alliance since 1948.
He was a meat processor at the former Carnation Pet Foods in Sebring.
Surviving are his wife, Carol A. DeWitt Bryant, whom he married Nov. 24, 1978; seven daughters, Debbie Barker of Alliance, Linda Barker of Thomasville, N.C., Sherry George, Becky Bryant and Cheryl Heslip, all of Alliance; Charnell Anderson of the home and Theresa Barker of Conroe, Texas; seven sons, Robert Bryant, Dave Bryant, Danny Bryant, Terry Bryant, Steve Bryant, Toney Bryant and Robert Burchfield, all of Alliance; a sister Mary Kirschman of Warren; six brothers, Harold Bryant of Olive Hill, Ky., Jesse Bryant of Leesburg, Fla., Sterril Bryant, Arnold Bryant, Chester Bryant and Richard Bryant, all of Alliance; 28 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Imogene Bryant; one sister, Jewell Bungard, three brothers, Clayton Bryant, Ray Bryant and Gene Bryant; one granddaughter, Amanda Betz, one grandson, Tommy Barker, and one great-grandson, Dave Gandee.
Services will be held at 11a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Pratt and Rev. Chester Bryant co-officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.
