Clarissa was born to the parents Jesse Austin Wright (of Laurens Co., SC) and Susan Martha Young (of Washington Co., AL). She married Thomas Jefferson Campbell on 17 Jan. 1882 in Butler, Choctaw Co., AL.
They had 13 children 2 infant boy's didn't survive. at their First home in Womack Hill, Choctaw Co., Al.

Clara Ursula Campbell was residing at 2509, 9th Street in Meridian, Mississippi when she died on October 1, 1933 at 5:30 AM of a cerebral hemorrhage. E. E. Robinson, M. D. signed her death certificate. She was a widow when she died at 71 years, 10 months of age. Her parents were given as Jessie A. Wright who was born in Tennessee and Miss S. Young who was born in Alabama. The informant of her death was Mrs. K. S. Stephens of the City of Meridian. She was buried in Laurel, Mississippi on October 2, 1933. James F. Webb Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Her death certificate number is 15717 from the State of Mississippi.
