Records show that he married Hilda Matilda Halstensen Brinton on March 18th, 1880 in Bingham, Utah. Hilda had four children from a previous marriage when they married. Antone and Hilda had six more children. Lillian M., Josephine Martine, Ludvick A., George Peter, Hilda Mary, and Rodney Edward. Two of their children died tragically while still young.
Antone and Hilda must have divorced and Antone remarried as
when he died in 1927, Antone was married to Mary Ann Halseth, maiden name likely Lovell. He was still employed as a "grocer" at the time of his death of stomach cancer per his death certificate. His headstone in the SLC cemetery reads "Grandfather".
