Juel Graff passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at the Greenbush Nursing Home, Greenbush, MN at the age of 94.

Juel Efford Graff, the son of Julius H. and Emma (Hellickson) Graff, was born Septemver 18, 1908, in Soler Township, Roseau County, MN. He grew up and attended school there. He married Agnes Hudson on December 14, 1932 at Greenbush. They farmed for several years north of Greenbush. In 1941, they moved to Wessington, SD where they farmed. They moved to Lake Bronson before moving back to their farm near Greenbush. They continued to live there until 1971, when they moved into Greenbush. Juel was a lifelong farmer and did custon threshing for several years. Joel's hobbies were hunting, fishing and trapping. He was a member of Oiland Church and had served on Island Home School Board.

He is survived by three sons: Robert (Ruth) Graff and Joel (Delphine) Graff, Greenbush, Larry (Betty) Graff, Moorhead; two daughters: JoAnn (John) Roggenbuck, Embarrass and Annette Bergsnev and her friend, Leonard Kukowski, Greenbush; in addition to 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Reuben (Martha) Graff, Fosston; one sister, Deborah Sather, Greenbush.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes on Fbruary 14, 1997; two grandsons: Randy Bergsnev and Eugene Graff; one granddaughter, Pami Jo Graff; son-in-law Orin Bergsnev; three brothers:Clarence, Oscar and Hector Graff; two sisters: Judy Bergan and Eleanor Hudson.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at Oiland Lutheran Church of rural Greenbush, Pastor LeRoy Flickinger, officiating. Pianist was Lynn Balstad and vocalist was Bill Wagner, Casket bearers wee grandsons: Jesse, Wade and Monte Graff, James and Michael Bergsnev, Mitchell, Virgil and Brian and Rocky Roggenbuck. Interment will be in Oiland Lutheran Cemetery.
