Maud Isaac Whyte was the daughter of John Isaac and Sarah Platt of Kingston Jamaica where she was born in 1886. She married Hedley Randall Whyte in Manchester Jamaica on the family Plantation "Coffee Grove". Her parents owned a store in Kingston Jamaica. The Family moved to the Perkasie Pa, then later moved to Philadelphia Pa. where she owned a boarding house, at 1931 Arch Street. She was the mother of 7 children.
