Death of Miss Eva Harris.
After a short illness Miss Eva Harris, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. W. B. Harris, died last Saturday at 12:15 p.m., aged 18 years, 2 weeks and 2 days. Congestion of the stomach and erysipelas are given as the cause of her death. She was sick about three weeks.
The funeral was held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, and was conducted by the pastor Rev. C. M. Buttrill, assisted by Revs. A. J. French and J. J. Franklin. Members of her Sunday school class and graduating class were honorary pall bearers. Burial was in Green Hill cemetery.
Miss Eva was a lovely young lady of beautiful character and was beloved by all who knew her. She was a graduate of the 8th grade of the Davis public school this year. She joined the Methodist church four years ago. She is survived by her parents, five brothers, three sisters and a host of friends. To the bereaved ones The News extends condolence.

We take this mode of thanking you for kindness shown to our darling girl Eva, during her illness, and for the sympathy shown us in her death, for we assure you that we certainly do appreciate it. May God bless and reward you is our prayers.

There is a grave with a native stone marker, no name or dates, behind her parents' graves - possibly the burial place of Eva?
