SERVICES ARE
HELD FOR MRS.
W. B. HARRIS
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. at the Davis Methodist church for Mrs. W. B. Harris, 84, who passed away Jan. 10 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. R. Gibson, at Allen, Okla.
Rev. Charles Hoole officiated at the services. He was assisted by Rev. Roy Burkett of the Allen Baptist church. Interment was in the Green Hill cemetery in Davis. Criswell's Funeral home at Ada had charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were Clifford Parker, Robert Fulton, jr., W. B. Harris, Leroy Harris, Ewing Hall and Woodrow Gibson, all grandsons.
Mrs. Harris was born Oct. 4, 1872, at Bonham, Texas. She was married to Tom Parker in 1890 at Davis, Indian Territory. Three children survive this union. They are Grover L. Parker of Davis, Callie M. Gibson of Allen, and J. Lindsay Parker of Brownfield, Texas.
On Nov. 20, 1898, she married W. B. Harris at Davis, Indian Territory. The two surviving children of this union are T. Perry Harris of Globe, Ariz., and Grace Calvert of Tulsa, Okla.
Other survivors include two step-children, Jannie Barnes of Stonewall, Okla., and Fred Harris of Wichita Falls, Tex.; 29 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.
