Myrtice McCall Kicklighter, 96 of Screven, Ga. died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Golden Living Center after an extended illness. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of Foley Kicklighter.

Survivors are a daughter: Colleen (Charlie) Mundy of Jesup, Ga.; 2 sons: Bobby (Lucy) Kicklighter of Jesup, Ga., Joe (Donna) Kicklighter of Eatonton, Ga.; 2 sisters: Idel Thornton of Odum, Ga., Gladys Minix of Waycross, Ga.; 4 grandchildren: Cliff Kicklighter, Clay Kicklighter, Mike Kicklighter, and Pam Wester; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Friday, April 29, 2011 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Elder Vernon Eckleberry and Elder Larry Tillman officiating. Interment will be in the Screven City Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons: Cliff Kicklighter, Clay Kicklighter, Mike Kicklighter, Brent Kicklighter, Kyle Wester, Tyler Wester, and Blake Herrin. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Golden Living Center, members of Salem Primitive Baptist Church, and the employees of Hospice of South Georgia.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services from the funeral home.
