Clara E. Herr
Clara E. Herr, daughter of Armitus and Arminta Fuller, was born in Centerville, Iowa, February 17, 1854. She was one of ten children, four of whom are living, two brothers and two sisters. She was married to George L. Barnthouse, Feb. 25, 1872. To this union seven children were born, three girls and four boys, five of whom are living, namely Mrs. Lulu Mannon of Chillcothe, Mo., Mrs. Bessie B. Dent of
Hannibal, Mo., Lloyd of Centerville, and Thomas and Parther (Porter) of Moberly, Mo. Mr. and Mrs. Barnthouse celebrated ~ their - golden wedding anniversary at Centerville on the 25th of February 1922, all of the children being present, and what a happy occasion it proved to be. Mr. Barnthouse was called from this life on March 28, 1923. Some years later Mrs. Barnthouse was married to Jacob Herr, who preceded her in death about three years ago. She has been a member of the Baptist church since early girlhood and has been a very consistent Christian woman. She was loved by all who knew her.
She departed this life at the home of her daughter in Hannibal, Dec. 1, 1935, after a very short illness. Those left to sorrow are her five children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, and many dear friends. Truly, a good Christian woman has gone to her reward and will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services were held at the First Baptist church of Centerville, of which she was a member, Tuesday morning. Dec 3. 1935, at 11:00 o'clock, conducted by her minister, the Rev. Luther W. Childs, assisted by the Women's Relief Corps, of which she was a member of Centerville. Interment followed in the Oakland cemetery in the family lot.

CARD OF THANKS
We wish to thank our kind neighbors and friends for their sympathetic aid during our recent bereavement. We also wish to extend an expression of our appreciation for the many beautiful floral offerings.
The Children.
