Zachariah Lee was the beloved son of Owen Lee and Elizabeth Wright. Zachariah was born 1780 in Caswell Co., NC and died 1843 in Rockbridge, Gwinnett Co., GA. He later moved to Union Co., South Carolina where he was married and then relocated to Gwinnett Co., Georgia, circa 1825.

1. Phoebe Josephine Lee, b. 1810 in Laurens Co., SC, d. 1850 in AL. She married Matthew Henry.
2. Mary "Polly" Lee, b. May 13, 1812 in Laurens Co., SC, d. 1888. She married Thomas Johnson. They both are buried at Rock Chapel Cemetery.
3. Edmond Thomas Lee, b. July 27, 1814 in Laurens Co., SC, d. April 18, 1890 in Dekalb Co, GA. He is buried at Rock Chapel Cemetery.
4. Elizabeth C. Lee, b. July 27, 1816 in Laurens Co., SC, d. June 29, 1871 in Meriwether Co, GA. She married James Lovic Sewell and lived in Lone Oak, Meriwether Co., GA. She is buried at Allen-Lee UMC Cemetery, Lone Oak, GA.
5. John Carslile Lee, MD., b. May 8, 1818 in Laurens Co., SC. He lived in Walker Co., GA, d. July 1, 1876 in Cassendra, Walker Co, GA and is buried at the Coulter Cemetery, Walker Co., Ga.
6. William Owen Lee, b. Sept. 29, 1820 in Laurens Co., SC. He lived in Lone Oak, Meriwether Co., GA. d. October 18, 1874 in Meriwether Co, GA. He is buried at the Allen-Lee Cemetery, Lone Oak, GA.
7. Rebecca Ann Lee, b. February 26, 1824 in Gwinette Co, GA, d. February 1, 1886 in GA.
8. Martha Adeline Lee, b. February 24, 1829 in Gwinette Co, GA, d. April 11, 1907 in Tallapoosa Co, AL.
9. Zachery James Lee, b. August 7, 1831 in Gwinnett Co., GA, d. August 24, 1865 in Gwinette Co, GA PVT Co. E 64th Inf. Reg Ga Vol. Inf. He is buried at Rock Chapel Cemetery.
