Edmund Thomas Lee was the beloved son of Zachariah Lee and Rebecca Brock. Edmund was born on July 27, 1814 in Laurens, Laurens Co., SC and died on Apr. 18, 1890 in DeKalb Co., GA at the age of 76. Edmund married Catherine Elizabeth Reid in 1833. Catherine was born in 1814 and died in 1869. Edmund married his second wife, Sophronia Lee, in 1852. Sophronia was born Abt. 1822 in South Carolina and died in 1890 in Georgia. Edmund was the grandson of Owen Lee (1761-1817) and Elizabeth Betsy Wright Lee (1765-1854).
