John Carter Chandler, 71, of Helena, died Sunday in a Birmingham hospital.
The funeral was today at 10 a.m. at the Carr Funeral Home chapel in Guntersville with Gary Bradley Jr. officiating. Burial was in Brocks Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Chandler was retired from the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie W. Chandler; two daughters, Patty Maynard of Houston and Donna Chandler of Dallas; a son, Barry Chandler of Nashville; and two grandchildren.
