Bernard Eugene Chandler, 77, of Route 6, Guntersville, died Thursday at his residence.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Carr Funeral Home chapel in Guntersville with the Rev. Ken Dunivant officiating. Burial will be in the Marshall Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Chandler was retired from the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville.
Survivors include a son, Gene Chandler, Route 6, Guntersville; three brothers, Hunter Chandler of Chattanooga, Willie Chandler of Paint Rock and John C. Chandler of Helena; and two grandchildren.

Bernard Chandler was the son of Thomas Chandler and Alice Stroud Chandler. He is listed on the 1910 Marshall Co, AL, census and also listed on his brother, Harold Chandler's obit.
He married Alta Smith on November 2, 1932, in Marshall Co, AL.
