Glenis Pullen Cook, widow of Macon Cecil Cook, died peacefully at Hospice Savannah on Monday, September 6 following a stroke.

Born March 12, 1919 in Johnson County, Georgia to the late Thomas Jefferson Pullen and the late Gertrude Powell Pullen, she and Mr. Cook lived in Sandersville for many years where they were faithful members of Sandersville Baptist Church. She proudly worked as a nurse in the old Rawlings Sanitarium and at Washington County Regional Medical Center.

Her survivors include daughters, Linda Cook Gladin (Tybee Island) and Cheryl Cook Weatherly (Macon); Linda's husband, Ronald Gladin; Granddaughter Kimberly Weatherly Calloway (Franklin, Tennessee), her husband David Calloway and their children Madison and Jackson; Granddaughter Kelli Weatherly Haugen (Flowery Branch), her husband Rob Haugen and their children Clayton and Mason; her sister, Rubye Pullen Frost (Harrison); her brother, Billy Hugh Pullen (Kite); and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Cheryl's husband, Jack Malcom Weatherly Jr, her brother, Thomas Pullen and her sisters, Cecil Garrett and Doris Price preceded Mrs. Cook in death.
