CLARK

Opal Elizabeth Clark, 73, 406 N. Eight St., died Tuesday at Guadalupe Medical Center.

Services are pending at West Funeral Home.

She was born and raised in the Rocky Arroyo area and the daughter of pioneer family, Sam and Lib Jones. She attended school in the Rocky Arroyo area and in Carlsbad. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She married the late E.D. "Buck" Clark.

Survivors include two sons, Sammy and Larry, both of Carlsbad; a brother, Charlie Jones, Carlsbad; two sisters, Juanita Clark, Silver City, and Annabelle Thayer, Carlsbad; a half-sister, Essie Hudson, Los Alamos; and seven drandchildren, two great-grandchildren,

Funeral services for Opal Elizabeth Clark, 73, 406 N. Eightst., will be at 10 a.m. Friday in West Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Clarence Otts, retired Assembly of God Church minister, will officiate. Burial will follow in Carlsbad Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mike Jones, Tommy Jones, Walter Thayer, Zarroll Niblett, Bill Gillock and Arnold Crabb.
