Camden - Mrs. Josephine Shannon Blackwell, 85, died Tuesday in Kershaw County Memorial Hospital. The widow of Grover L. Blackwell, she was born in Camden, daughter of the late Charles John and Mary Kershaw Shannon.

Surviving are two sons, David L. Blackwell of Charlotte, N.C., and C. Shannon Blackwell of St. Paul, Minn; a daughter, Mrs. Serre D deLoach of Camden; a sister, Mrs. Harriet Shannon Steedman of Charleston.
