Funeral services for Norma Evelyn Schroeder Kettler, 89, of Needville, TX, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, January 11, 2008, at Calvary Baptist Church, 4111 Airport Avenue/Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Rev. Byron Williamson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Rosenberg, TX. Serving as pallbearers will be Troy Faldyn, Justin Burciaga, Jeremy Sury, Jason Landgrebe, Rodney Greims, and Cory Warr. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday, January 10, 2008, at the Garmany & Carden Chapel, 3103 School Street/Needville, TX.
Mrs. Kettler was born June 23, 1918, in Cottonwood, TX, to August Schroeder and Clara Paulmann Schroeder. She died Tuesday, January 8, 2008, in Missouri City, TX. She was a lifetime resident of Fort Bend County, a member of Calvary Baptist Church/Rosenberg, TX, and a member of Sons of Hermann in Needville, TX.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Herbert W. Kettler.
Survivors include daughter, Marjorie Sharp; son, Keith Kettler and wife, Benny; grandchildren, Pamela Jones, Melia Faldyn and husband, Troy, Kristie Kettler and Cory Warr, Kori Sury and husband, Jeremy, and Rodney Greims and wife, Natasha; 9 great grandchildren, Kara Landgrebe and husband, Jason, Kelsey Jones, Kristen Jones, Justin Burciaga, Joshua Faldyn, Emma Sury, Reid Kettler Warr, Luke Greims, and Jared Sury; sister, Vida Marie Arlitt; and sister-in-law, Viola Kapalski.
