Fort Bend Herald, January 30, 2012:

A Funeral Service for Marjorie Joyce Kettler Sharp, 73, of Needville, TX, will be 10 AM Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church, 4111 Airport Avenue, Rosenberg, TX 77471, with Larry Howie officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Landgrebe, Kyle Griffith, Justin Burciaga, Cory Warr, Jeremy Sury, and Rodney Greims. Visitation will be 5 - 8:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2012, at the Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel, 3103 School Street, Needville, TX 77461.

Marjorie was born to Herbert and Norma Kettler of Needville, TX, on November 20, 1938. She died Saturday, January 28, 2012, in Missouri City, TX. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rosenberg, TX, for over 30 years. She retired from Schlumberger after over 35 years of employment, and she was under the care of Roxanne Grice of Missouri City.

She is survived by daughters, Pamela Jones of Richmond, TX, and Melia Faldyn of Rosenberg, TX; five grandchildren, Kara Landgrebe and husband, Jason, Kelsey Griffith and husband, Kyle, Kristen Jones, Justin Burciaga, and Joshua Faldyn; one great grandson, Braeden Landgrebe; brother, Keith Kettler and wife, Benny, of New Braunfels, TX; and nieces and nephews, Kristie Warr, husband Cory, and sons, Reid and Colton, Kori Sury, husband, Jeremy, and children, Emma and Jared, and Rodney Greims, wife Natasha, and son, Luke.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Norma Kettler, and by her son-in-law, Charles Jones.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Calvary Baptist Church, 4111 Airport Avenue, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
