Marlene R. (Kestler) Bean, 42, of 44 Kellogg Ave., Feeding Hills, an office manager for J & H Landscaping Co. in Holyoke, died Monday at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

Born in Holyoke, she was graduated from Holyoke High School in 1968. She moved to Feeding Hills two years ago, and was a communicant of the section's Sacred Heart Church.

She left her husband, Ron L. Bean; a son, Robert, and a daughter, Tracy Bean, both at home; her mother, Yvonne (Quennville) Kestler of Ludlow; three brothers, Raymond LaCroix of Grayslake, Ill., Edward Kestler of Chicopee, and James Kestler of Holyoke; two sisters, Janet Lavigne of Ludlow and Carol Chenevert of Chicopee, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was conducted Thursday morning at Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home and the church, with burial in Springfield Street Cemetery.

Calling hours were Wednesday afternoon and evening, and memorial contributions were asked to be made to the Pioneer Valley Hospice, 570 Cottage St., Springfield, 01104, or the American Cancer Society, 383 Dwight St., Holyoke, 01040.
