EDINBURGH - Frank Carl Repp, 64, of Edinburgh route 3, died at 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the emergency room of the Johnson County Memorial Hospital at Franklin. In failing health since 1976, he had retired in July of that year from Farmers Marketing Association in Columbus.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Vandivier Tudor Funeral Home in Franklin by the Rev. Charles Bell. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Persons may call at the funeral home today.
Repp was born Oct. 21, 1913, in Johnson County, son of Bessie Irene Scott and Charles Repp Sr. He married Mary Ellen Walters on Oct. 9, 1943, and she survives. He was a miller at the former Snider elevator in Taylorsville for 15 years before working in Columbus. He attended the Old Union United Church of Christ.
Surviving besides the wife are three daughters, Mrs. Robert Gabbard, Columbus route 11, Mrs. Truman Lovins, Edinburgh route 2, and Mrs. James Cox of Edinburgh; two brothers, Donald Repp of Edinburgh route 2 and Charles Repp Jr. of Tampa, Fla; two sisters, Mrs. Wayne Thurston of Franklin route 4 and Mrs. Kenneth Moore of Greenwood route 3; five grandchildren; two uncles and several nieces and nephews.
