Donald W. Repp, 79, of Edinburgh died at 2:48 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin.

Mr. Repp was a lifelong farmer and drove a bus for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. for 29 years. He was a member of Old Union United Church of Christ.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Old Union United Church of Christ with the Rev. Kirby Rupp officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Burial will be at Old Union Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Old Union United Church of Christ, 12703 N. Road 50W, Edinburgh, IN 46124.

Born in Johnson County May 29, 1928, Mr. Repp was the son of Charles and Bessie I. Scott Repp. He married Doris Maxine Zigler June 3, 1949. She preceded him in death March 21, 1999.

Survivors include sons, Wayne D. (Susan) Repp of Edinburgh and John A. (Sue) Repp of Hope; a daughter, Nancy K. (Denny) Meyer of Edinburgh; a sister, Catheran Thurston of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Frank, Harry and Charles Repp; and a sister, Marie Moore.

He was born May 29, 1928, in Johnson County to Charles and Bessie I. (Scott) Repp.

Donald married Doris Maxine Zigler on June 3, 1949. She preceded him in death March 21, 1999.

He was a lifelong farmer and a bus driver for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. for 29 years.

He was a member of Old Union United Church of Christ in Edinburgh.

Survivors include two sons, Wayne D. (Susan) Repp of Edinburgh and John A. (Sue) Repp of Hope; a daughter, Nancy K. (Denny) Meyer of Edinburgh; a sister, Catheran Thurston of Shelbyville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his wife; his parents; three brothers, Frank, Harry and Charles Repp; and a sister, Marie Moore.
