Clarence spent alot of his childhood moving around with his parents. The family did jobs in farming and oil field, any way they could find to make a living.

He was not in the service due to hearing problems. But during that time worked driving a fuel truck and mechanic work.

In 1940, Illinois he married Violet Jerlene Edgmon. Later moving to Texas. They had four children: Tracy, Michael, Timothy and Susan.

Clarence was very honest in his work and was well known for being one of the best large engine and transmission men of his day.

He died of Heart problems.
