Services for Mrs. Hary Ashley, 58, were held at Oak Street Baptist Church officiated by the pastor, Rev. V.A. Duncan. Mrs. Ashley moved with her parents to Yale, Oklahoma in 1894. She received her education in the schools of Payne County, Oklahoma. It was here she met and married Harry Ashley at the home of her parents on 14 November 1906.

Mr. and Mrs. Ashley moved to Hatfield, Arkansas in 1917. In 1918, the couple moved to Texas. They returned to Hatfield, Arkansas in 1926 and it was at this time that Mrs. Ashley became a member of West Valley Baptist Church. Her membership was at Oak Street Baptist Church at the time of her death. In 1927, the family moved to Jack County. In 1931, they moved to Eliasville. The couple moved to Illinois in 1943 and then in 1946, moved to Graham, Texas.

Survived by her husband; children - A.H. "Pete" Ashley, C.A. Ashley, Floyd J. Ashley, Francis Ashley, Arthur Edward Ashley, Irvan H. Ashley; two daughters - Edith Irene Hardin, Leta Myrl Harrell; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers - Jesse Coonrod, Leslie H. Coonrod, Luther Coonrod, Leland Coonrod.
