Ms. Sadie Desadier, age 86 of Winnfield passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Winn Parish Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
Ms. Desadier is survived by her seven children: Donald Gorum & wife Jeannie of Minden, LA, Jerry Desadier & wife Josie of Winnfield, Herman "Pojo" Desadier of Winnfield, Linda Phelps & husband Monty of Gaars Mill, LA, David Desadier & wife Pamela of Castor, LA, Bruce Desadier & wife Debra of Winnfield, Dewayne Desadier & wife Barbara of Winfield, 14 grandchildren, ___great-grandchildren & ____great-great-grandchildren, one brother, Adolph "Buddy" Desadier of Winnfield, two sisters, Lucille Shaw and Betty Shows both of Winnfield, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral of Winnfield on Monday from 5-8PM and on Tuesday from 8AM until time of services. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in the Southern Funeral Home chapel with Reverends Lamar Carpenter and Deloy Shows officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Maurice Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes.
Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Kyle, Bobby Norris, Carl Whitehead, Charlie Clark, Vance Luther, Reggie Franks.
