HEADLINE: Mrs. Desadier, 74, Succumbs, Rites Friday
Mrs. Rosie P. Desadier, 74, of Winnfield died at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 1972 in Jackson Parish Hospital in Jonesboro following a lengthy illness. Funeral rites were held at 2 p.m. Friday in St. Maurice Methodist Church with the Rev. DeLoy Shows officiating, assisted by Rev. Wilma Jordan. Burial was in the church cemetery at St. Maurice. Mrs. Desadier was a native of Natchitoches Parish and was a resident of Winnfield for the past 10 years. She was a member of the Clarence Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Glen Desadier, Cecil Desadier, and Adolph Desadier, Jr., all of Winnfield; seven daughters, Miss Virginia Desadier of New Orleans, Mrs. Ted Rowell of Monroe, Mrs. Sadie Desadier, Mrs. Myrl Rhymes, and Mrs. Henry Shows, all of Winnfield, Mrs. Orlean Nealy of Campti, and Mrs. L. B. Doyal of St. Maurice; two brothers, Sylvan Pardee and Polete Pardee, both of Natchitoches; three sisters, Miss Annie Pardee and Mrs. Roy Clemons, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Cora Lonadier of Campti; and 59 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
