Adeline Rhymes, 83, of Columbus, GA died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at Columbus Hospice House.
Adeline "maw maw" Rhymes 83 of Columbus died Saturday at Columbus Hospice House.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday March 3, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Charles Fuller officiating. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The following will serve as active pallbearers: Charlie Beam, Joe Simmons, Lenny Miller, Skipper McDaniel, Joe Wilds, Steve Knight and Mike Clayton. Mrs. Rhymes was born January 29, 1927 in Clarence, LA daughter of the late Adolf and Rosie Desadier. She was a homemaker and member of Pinehurst Baptist Church and was the widow of Samuel M. Rhymes. Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Grosz (Steven) of Magnolia, TX. and Susie Wildes (Tim)of Box Springs, GA., seven sons, Leroy Bullock, Danny Bullock, Richard Bullock, Wayne Dunn, Jimmy Bullock, Joel Bullock, Jr. and Kenneth Bullock, three sisters Betty Shows, Lucille Nealy, Sadie Desadier one brother, Buddy Desadier all of Louisiana, 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

The family would to thank her special nieces Elizabeth "Elaine" Brouillette and Shelia Long and special friends, Jodi Conley and Joe Simmons for all the care given to Mrs. Rhymes during her illness.
