Services to celebrate Nancy,s live will be 11am Saturday December 4 , 2010 in the Chapel of Graceland/Fairland Funeral Home with Pastor William Abbott officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the services at the Funeral Home. Private Family Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials Cotributions may be made to thr Pilgrim Lutheran Church, online condolence and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairland.com
Nancy was born Oct.10 , 1933 in Decatur a daugther of Mr andMrs Ziemer. She was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School and Millikin University where she received her Bachelor Degree of Science. She then attended DMH Nursing program where upon completion she started her Nursing Career. She Retired from DMH serving as head nurses instructor and surpervisor of nurses after 40 years of service. She was a member of the Pilgrim Lutheran Church and enjoyed reading and drinking coffee and her dogs. She married James Ray Waddell in Feb. 1956, he preceded her in death April 7 , 1986. She leaves behind a son Brian Todd Waddell of Riverton and a daugther Susan Renee Korich and husband Richard of O,Fallen , brother Stanley Ziemer and wife Lcuille of Peachtree Georgia , sister Wanda Tracy of Austin Texas and Gloria Vyhnalek of L.A. California, grandchildren Nickolas , Keli , Rachel , Rebeckah , James , Claibel and Jeaneanne, Great grandchildren Casey , Mikenzie , Bryson , Amaya , Mikayla and Zackary. She reunited with her Parents Husband two sons Dirk and Rick brothers Robert and Kenneth Ziemer.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Nurse staff at Fair Haven Christian Home and Davita Dialysis for all their loving Care
