Francis (Fanny) Holden Dawsey was the oldest of four children born to Mahlon Beason Holden and Nancy Ann Stringfield. She was married to Antoine (Tony) Lott in 1899. She had two children with him, Rena Lott Croft Pitts and Nancy Lott McGehee. She then married John Dawsey in 1917. They had one child together, Edith (Ede)Dawsey Cuevas.
