About 1753, Molly Clark's date of birth was written as "1747, 9, 17" in original Quaker records of Camp Creek Monthly Meeting. Members of the Society of Friends wrote the number of the month instead of using the Pagan name. Until 1752, the British Colonies used the Julian Calendar and March was the first month of each year. The Clerk of the Meeting located in Louisa County, Virgina, knew the birthdate was 17 Nov 1747. Those records also say Molly was born to Francis Clark, Jr. and Christian (Stone) Clark. Hinshaw-Thomas-Moorman Family Bible shows given name as "Christian." Grave stone says Molly died in her 92nd year. At the time she was a member of New Garden Monthly Meeting in Wayne County, Indiana.
