MRS. WILSON IS TAKEN BY DEATH
Mrs. Nancy Ann Wilson, 83, who resided at 818 West Maple street, died April 8 at 8:15 p.m. following a long period of failing health. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas W. Wilson, 16 years ago. She leaves two sons and five step-children as follows; Sterling H. Wilson, of Centerville and Kenneth H., of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Edith Thompson, Centerville; Mrs. Amy Bishop, Lakeside, Colo.; Olive Atkinson, San Diego; Dell N., Unionville, and Mrs. Delia Caylor, San Diego.
There are four brothers and three sisters surviving as follows: Dr. C. E. Williams and M. E. Williams, of Portland, Ore.; L. L. and F. A. Williams, Chariton; Mrs. Hattie Layton, Kansas City; Mrs. Nora McGinnis, Chariton, and Mrs. Salene Berger, Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, at 1 p.m. at the Miller Funeral Home and burial will be in the Chariton, Ia. cemetery. The Rev. Miles K. Thompson, pastor of the Baptist church will officiate.
Mrs. Wilson had lived in this community for nearly half a century and her death is mourned by a wide circle of friends and relatives.
