McLean-Mrs. Chloe Lambert, 55, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the Fairview Sanitorium, Normal, after a lingering illness. The body was taken to the McReynolds Funeral Home in McLean. Funeral services will be held there 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. C. R. Barr, pastor of the Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in the McLean cemetery. She was born Oct 10, 1889, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hunter, Hymera Indiana. She was married to Charles Lambert Sept. 3, 1903. Her husband and four children preceeded her in death. Surviving are 13 children: Mrs. Charles Adkins and James Towanda; William, Waynesville; Mrs. Martin Gibson, Helen Lambert, Robert, Bloomington; Mrs. Walter Lanham, Johnson city, KY.; Earl New York; Charles, Chetah, Wis.; Mrs. Hazel Wheeler, Chicago;Pvt. Vernon, DeLand; Andrew Jackson Lambert, Seaman first class, Washington D.C.; Chloey, Peoria; Three sisters survive in Terre Haute. There are also 21 grandchildren.
Chloe's father John, was murdered by his son-in-law James Ward with her brother in Hymera Indiana in 1895.
