Nora Ethel Rickert was the daughter of Gottlieb Rickert and Minnie Bentz. Her parents passed away before she was seven years old. She was raised in an orphange in Phoenixville, Pa. caled Odd Fellows House. She married Norman Hayes Benninghove on 25 Apr 1922.

OBITUARIES

Nora Benninghove

Nora (Rickert) Benninghove, a former bookeeper, died Wednesday at Bryn Mawr Terrace after a long illness. She was 85.

Mrs. Benninghove, who lived for 50 years in Ardmore, worked for Bryn Mawr Trust Co. and for Harrison Brothers and Co. in Ardmore.

Born in Spring City, she was a member of Ardmore Chapter 309, Order of the Eastern Star, and Frances F. Evans Rebekah Lodge 5, Broomall.

She was the widow of Norman H. Benninghove Sr.

Surviving are a son, Norman H. Jr. of Jeffersonville; three grandchildren; a great granddaughter, and a niece.

The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Stuard Funeral Home, 104 Cricket Ave., Ardmore. The Rev. John L. Kinzel, pastor of Grace Lutheran Church in Norristown, will officiate Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church cemetery, Spring City.

Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where Eastern Star services will be conducted at 8 p.m.
