Mrs. J. C. Rowland, aged 68 years, died yesterday morning at 5 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Lisby(sic), at Byron. She had been a resident of that community all her life. Mrs. Rowland had been ill since last Christmas time. She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Beatrice Lisby, of Byron; Mrs. Anna Kneece, of Macon; L. W. and H. L. Rowland of Byron; and O. G. Rowland, of Fort Valley, and two sisters, Mrs. A. Braswell, and Mrs. Harriet Rowland, of Macon. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock this morning from Society Hill Church in Crawford County.
