MUNCIE--Robert C. Landers, 60, died Sunday in Ball Memorial Hospital.
A lifelong Muncie resident, Mr. Landers worked for General Motors for 23 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of Avondale Sympathy Club, Parkview Apostolic Church, Delaware Lodge 46 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, and Mizpah Shrine Temple AAONMS of Fort Wayne. He was 1998 president of Eagles Lodge Aerie 231 until his illness and was a special deputy for the Delaware County Sheriff's Department.

Survivors include his wfie, Linda Brinson Landers; four daughters, Terri Wilson (husband-Robert), Diana Cox (husband-Leonard), Tammy Morris and Karrissa Landers; a stepdaughter, Shellie Grizzle (husband-Dannie); a stepson, Jimmie Hamblin; a brother, Gale Landers (wife-Mary); four sisters, Lib Vincent, Becky Landers, Peggy Whited (husband-Donald), and Carolyn Clark (husband-Donald); and ten grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters are deceased.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Parkview Apostolic Church. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Parson Mortuary and an hour before services Thursday at the church. Eagles and Masonic meorial services will be at 7 p.m.
