She was a lifelong resident of Muncie, attended schools here and worked in several local restaurants as a waitress and cook. She was active in the Delaware County Democratic Party.
Survivors include her husband, Carl R. Bright; a son, Danny R. Vincent; a daughter, Beth Wilson; four brothers, John Landers, Harry Landers, Gale Landers and Robert Landers; five sisters, Mary Elizabeth Vincent, Norma Brown, Rebecca Landers, Peggy Whitted and Carolyn Landers; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Apostolic Church, 1442 W. 15th. Visitation will be at the Bright residence, 2210 S. Pierce, from 3 to 7 p.m., Wednesday.
Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Daleville.
Parson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
