Funeral services for Mr. Carson O. Lee, 77, of the Roaring River community of Jackson County, Tennessee, will be held at 10 A.M. on Friday, May 22, 2009, at Anderson – Upper
Cumberland Funeral Home in Gainesboro, TN. Burial will follow
in the West Cemetery in the Dodson Branch community of
Jackson County, TN.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 A.M. – 9 P.M., and Friday from 9 A.M. until time of services.

Mr. Lee passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, TN.

He was born October 19, 1931, in Jackson County, TN, to the late Millard Filmore and Laura Gentry Lee. He worked in furniture upholstery, and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers: Roy, Howard, and Garrett Lee; and 2 Sisters: Ora Mae Chaffin and Clara Maberry. Survivors include 2 Sons: Stanley Lee of Gainesboro, TN, and Tim Lee of Gainesboro, TN; 1 Daughter: Dianne (Larry) Cook of Gainesboro, TN; 2 Grandchildren: Eric and Kevin
Lee; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Austin, Brandon, and Zachary Lee; 1 Brother: Arvis (Pat) Lee of Cookeville, TN; and 1 Sister: Arvilla (James) Carlile of Algood, TN.
